The Doylean Centre & Heritage House

Doylean Centre

The Doylean Centre and Heritage House were planned in collaboration between Garth & Audrey Willey and the WSF, with the Foundation contributing most of the furniture and fittings and several members willingly giving their time and expertise towards the construction of the buildings and the development of the gardens. The establishment is now operated as a Joint Venture.

A Planning Permit for a private Education Establishment was obtained and the Doylean Centre built in 2000. The property is not open to the public and visitations must be by prior arrangement.

The Centre comprises 225 sq m main building which comfortably caters for working groups of up to 20 people, or can comfortably seat 60 people in its main function room (of 65 sq m).

Heritage House

Heritage House

Adjacent to the Doylean Centre is Heritage House which has accommodation for 12 people in 4 bedrooms; and an additional 8 people can be residentially accommodated (in 4 twin bedrooms) in the main house on the property - which used to be operated as an RACV 3½ and 4 star rated Weekend Get-a-way. So the Doylean Centre can operate as a 20 person residential education venue.
